the Moscow city court extended the detention period of former Minister for Open government Mikhail Abyzov until September 25. About it reports “Interfax” with reference to the press service of the court.
At the same time extended the period of detention alleged accomplices — former Director of “Sibeko” Pelipasov Alexander, Director for Economics and finances of JSC “REMIS” Galina of Fridenberg, President of Novosibirsk regional Federation of Sambo, a former member of the Board of Directors of “Sibeko” Nikolay Stepanov, Deputy General Director of LLC “Ru-Com” Maxim Rusakov and ex-CEO of “RES” Sergey Ilichevo.
Mikhail Abyzov was detained and arrested in March last year. He is accused of creation of criminal community with use of official position (part 3 of article 210 of the criminal code), money laundering in especially large size (part 4 article 174 of the criminal code), illegal entrepreneurship (article 289 criminal code) and fraud in especially large size (part 4 of article 159 of the criminal code).
